Teams

User Groups have been replaced with a fixed set of Roles. These are assigned to users and Teams to provide “groups”. From a Licensing Authority perspective, there are two applications of the team concept that are of importance:

Licensing Areas

The team now sets which users assigned to a licensing area. These teams are configured on the screen:

Settings > Your Organisation > Licensing > Licensing Areas

Conditioning Teams

This replaces conditioning areas in the previous version of MRL. Once a team has been made a conditioning team, it will be possible for the Conditioner Approver to invite that team to condition a licence. Users in the team who have the Conditioning Role will be notified that their team was invited to condition the licence and this notification will appear in Licence Tasks, under Conditioning.

Settings > Your Organisation > Licensing > Conditioning Teams.

Managing Team Members

Users can be added and removed from teams by using the Users or Teams options from Settings > Your Organisation.

The user group configurations in the previous version of MRL have been migrated into Teams where appropriate.

The relevant roles have automatically been assigned to your users.
