Applicant Roles

User groups have been replaced with Teams and Roles.

This section highlights the changes that applicant organisation administrators should be aware of.

 

Roles for Managing Internal Applications

Role

Description

Applicant

Can create and manage licences.

View All Applicant

Can view all licences in all programmes regardless of team membership.

Programme Administrator

Can create programmes and has programme manager rights on all programmes regardless of team membership.

Programme Manager

Can manage all programmes and projects to which access is granted through team membership.

Project Manager

Can manage all projects to which access is granted through team membership.

Contractor

Allows a user with this role to be added to as a “Contractor” for a Licence application and also within the works programme.

SLG Card Holder

Allows a user with this role to be used in the works programme

 

Organisation Administration

Role

Description

Department Administrator

Allows administration of users within a single department. This role will be used in the future once the departments feature has been enabled.

Allows administrations of all users within the organisation

 

Teams

User Groups have been replaced with a fixed set of Roles. These are assigned to users and teams to provide “groups”. From an applicant perspective, teams are important in controlling access to programmes, projects, batches and engagements.  


prod_small_tipA Default Applicant Team has been created for your organisation. This should be used if another user needs to be granted access to create licences. This should remain the case until training on best practice use of the applicant manager functionality has been received.
