Licensing Authorities can define the days and times that work may be carried out on roads. These are configurable by traffic impact number using the Settings > Road Licensing > Work Time Conditions.
A Work Time Condition identifies the days and times that work can be carried out on a road based on the traffic impact number. Permitted hours of work can be specified for each day of the week as well as specific hours for Public Holidays. NOTE: Where more than one street has been selected for an excavation, the working times that will apply are based on the road with the highest traffic impact number - and as specified by the applicant on the work segment surface details. |
The work time condition that will apply is based on the highest traffic number of the streets affected by the licence. This means that if there are multiple streets selected for one or more excavation on a licence e.g. ranging from 0 to 3 - then the work time condition to apply with be the one for traffic impact 3. |
Work Time Conditions have been created for each licensing authority with set times for each traffic impact number. However, these have not been activated. This is to allow for each licensing authority to review the hours and to make the changes to reflect their own policies on permitted hours of work. Refer to the Settings > Conditions > Work Time Condition to review the pre-configured details and to make any changes. Note: Work Time Conditions will only be published to the applicant when the work time condition has been activated. |
Select Settings > Road Licensing > Conditions and select the Work Time Conditions tab. 1. Under the relevant Traffic Impact number, click the 2. A Work Time Condition will only be displayed when a work segment has been added to the application. If one has been added, but the Work Time Condition is still not shown, check that you have activated the Work Time Condition. This is done by clicking the flag icon. |
A Work Time Condition will remain inactive until such time the user selects the activate button - this indicates that all time periods for the work time condition have been defined and that it is ready to be displayed on the Conditions screen to the applicant (this will apply to new applications). If changes are required, create a copy of the existing work time condition, make the changes to the time periods and/time bands and then review it before activating it. This will automatically deactivate the old work time condition. |
Select Settings > Road Licensing > Conditions and select the Work Time Conditions tab. The permitted hours of works applicable to the licence are displayed on Licence Certificate. |
Yes. During the Conditioning stage, the Conditioner can choose the Edit option, shown below the Permitted Hours of Work heading, to apply and save the changes required.
