Transport Infrastructure Ireland (formerly known as National Roads Authority) has been added as a licensing authority. |
Transport Infrastructure Ireland can invite local authorities to condition licences where the intended works are to be carried out within their county area or where the works may affect traffic flow to roads within their jurisdiction. If a local authority is invited to participate in the conditioning of a licence for Transport Infrastructure Ireland, an email will be sent to the local authority with the licence code and details relating to the assistance sought. The local authority can access these licences from the new External Licences section on the Licensing menu. |
Local authorities should review their condition groups so that at least one conditioning group has been set to Public. Only public conditioning groups, which have at least one conditioner and condition approver assigned, can receive conditioning invitations from Transport Infrastructure Ireland. |
Transport Infrastructure Ireland can invite conditioning groups from another licensing authority to review and add conditions to a licence. |
Where an external organisation has been invited to condition on a licence, the Discussions tab will be made available. The NRA can use a new option when publishing topics to indicate that the topic is to be published to one or more selected external organisations. Such topics will be not be available to the applicant. The external organisation can also create new topics on the licence which will also be made available only to Transport Infrastructure Ireland. |
