Details of all traffic assets affected that will be affected by the works can now be specified by the applicant when submitting their notification / application.

Improvements have been made to the handling of edit requests and how the information is displayed. All tabs that feature an edit request will show a pencil When the applicant confirms that the requested changes have been made, an email will be sent to the processor. It the processor is satisfied with the change made they can accept the edit. Otherwise, the processor can reissue the edit request. |
After submitting an application, an applicant can make a request to withdrawal their application and provide an explanation. This can be done up to the 'In Progress' stage. If the licensing authority ascertains that work has already commenced then the request may be denied. |
•The confirmation popup when approving conditions has been removed. •Conditioning departments are now district / licensing area sensitive. •Attachments can be added when creating special or specific conditions on a licence. •A conditioning group can be set to Public to indicate that Transport Infrastructure Ireland can invite them to condition applications which involve works in or around the council's region. |
The Roadway type details and measurements are now shown when creating or viewing a defect. |
Forms that have been drafted or submitted by a form entry user can now be accessed by the applicant. The applicant can select a drafted form from the Applications > Draft Applications list. If they wish to takeover and edit the application, the applicant can select the option 'Convert to Application' and make the changes desired before submitting. |
•Local authorities should review their condition groups so that at least one conditioning group has been set to Public. Only public conditioning groups (which have at least one conditioner and condition approver assigned) can receive conditioning invitations from Transport Infrastructure Ireland. •A new user group type has been created for Signal, Lighting and Guard Cardholders, which must be assigned to works programme schedule. Each licensing authority must ensure that they create a user group for the SLG cardholders and assign the appropriate personnel. |
•A T2 or T3 licence will be automatically moved from Granted to In Progress if the validity start date is on or before today's date. •If no action has been taken by the licensing authority, a T2 or T3 licence will be automatically moved from Signoff to Guarantee Period if the guarantee period start date + 90 days is on or before today's date. •A T2/T3 licence will be automatically moved from Maintenance Conditioning to Guarantee Period if the guarantee period start date + 90 days is on or before today's date. •A T1 will be automatically moved from Granted to Guarantee Period if the validity period end date is earlier than today's date and all the linked T2's are in one of the following stages - Guarantee Period, Closed, Refused, Withdrawn or Superseded. •A T1 will be automatically moved from Granted to Closed if the validity period end date is earlier than today's date and either there are no linked T2's or the T2's linked to it are in one of the following stages - Application, Refused, Withdrawn or Superseded. |
