Works Details: Purpose of Works
Previously a single dropdown was used to describe the purpose of works. This has been replaced with a set of fields which allows for the purpose of works to be more comprehensively described. This should significantly improve the information available to the processor and conditioner.

Conditioning: Permitted Hours of Work
Permitted hours of work are determined based on the highest traffic impact number of the roads affected by the works and will be shown on the Conditions tab (under the Work Time Conditions heading) from the Processing stage and will be finalised by the licensing authority during the conditioning stage.

The permitted hours of work are also included on the Licence Certificate.

T1 Application: Planned Start and End Dates of Works
When submitting a T1 application, applicants must specify the Planned Works Start Date and End Date of the proposed works.

Applicant Reference (formerly known as Internal Reference)
The Internal Reference field has been renamed 'Applicant Reference' and now appears in the Licence Certificate. It has also been added to the Search.

Traffic Management Plan Declaration
A  declaration statement is shown on the Traffic tab of the Licence Form and Works Form highlighting the applicant's obligations.

Application Turnaround Time: Application Notification Period (ANP) Range Calculation
The calculation of the ANP End Date has been changed to exclude the time an application spends in the agreement stage (including when conditions are rejected). This provides a more accurate calculation of the application processing turnaround time. The ANP End Date is displayed on the Licensing Tasks list for licences in the following stages: Processing, Edit Requested, Priority Conditioning, Conditioning Rejected and Agreement Rejected.

Automatic approval of works blocks
By default works blocks submitted on new licences are automatically approved. A new settings screen is provided to switch this off or to limit the automatic approval based on the traffic impact number. Refer to the Settings > Your Organisation > Licensing > Auto-approve works blocks.

Toggle Works Block approval on/off on a licence

When the auto-approval is turned off, the works blocks must be manually approved. An option will be shown on the Works Programme screen to switch the auto-approve on for the current licence only.

Emails and Stories
New emails and stories have been added for the new actions. Note, when pushing a licence to the next stage and selecting the 'unassigned' option for Assign to User, no notifications will be sent. Users in licensing authorities who use this feature should instead refer to the task lists to keep abreast of licences that require action.
