Changes to Surface Material Types

The surface type names have been changed along with the respective fee category type.

The charges applicable when using the Transverse Trench geometry type are now based on the selected surface materials.

New surface types:

Heavy Duty Locations with SD6 reinstatement

Antique or Specialist Paving

Footway/Off Road Cycleway, Roadway

Modular Stone Paving

Footway/Off Road Cycleway, Roadway

Concrete Kerb*

Modular Kerb*

Footway/Off Road Cycleway, Roadway, Verge

* Kerb charges will only apply for LA Reinstatements.

 

The new surface types will only be available when applying to a licensing authority who has set-up the fees for these.

Reinstatement and LTI charges for Manhole

LTI charges for Verge: Nearest point of trench measured to nearest edge of roadway > 1m from National/Regional Road or > 0.5m from paved Local Road.

New LA Reinstatement Charges

LA Reinstatement charges for Roadway, Kerb, Footway/Off Road Cycleway and Verge surfaces.
