The Licensing Tasks screen includes an option to switch from list mode to map mode.

Using the Map View, the location of the licences on displayed on the map. This location is calculated by using the average position of all excavations contained within it.

The exact location of excavations can be viewed using the excavation view option on the map.

Using the Map View

1.From the Tasks screen, select the category and sub-category of licences that you are interested in and apply any filters required.

2.Click on the Map View button.

3.Zoom in on the map or click on any cluster to view the individual licence locations.

•Note: Hovering over a cluster will show the area in which the grouped licences are located.

4.Click a marker to see the licence code, type, organisation and stage.

•To open the licence click on the licence code.

To open a licence on a new tab, right click on the licence code and select the option 'Open in new tab'.

Using the Excavation View

The button to toggle to the excavation view appears at the closest two zoom levels.

When off, the button is grey. When on, the button is blue.

Clicking the excavations button will open the Excavation Map View.

•The map Position and Zoom is locked.

•All excavations within the boundaries of the map are displayed.

•To revert back to map view mode, click on the excavation view toggle button again.

Active Works Status Indicators

If a licence has active works ongoing, active works about to start or active works recently finished, the licence location marker will change colour to indicate the status.

Status Rules

Status	Shows When (T2)	Shows When (T3)	Indicator
None	There is no works phase activity on a licence.	There is no works phase activity on a licence.
Works Phase About to Start	A work phase is about to start: An approved works block will start within the next 7 days, irrespective of whether or not a start notification has been sent.	A work phase is about to start: A works start notification has been sent for works that have not yet started. It is possible to send a Works Start Notification up to 7 days in advanced.
Works Phase Started	The start notification has been sent and today's date is within the period of the works block.	The start notification has been sent and today's date is within the period of the works block.
Works Phase Complete	A works block has been marked complete within the last 7 days.	A works block has been marked complete within the last 7 days.
Start Notification Not Sent	An approved works block has not been activated. Note: It is a breach of licence conditions for works to take place before a start notification has been sent.	N/A: T3s do not have an approval process for works blocks.
Stop Notification Not Sent	An active works block has not been marked complete by 4:30pm on the day after the last day of the works block. It is a breach of licence conditions for works to be performed on dates outside of the works block.	An active works block has not been marked complete by 4:30pm on the day after the last day of the works block. It is a breach of licence conditions for works to be performed on dates outside of the works block.

View Location on Google Maps

When viewing the map screens there is a link to view the marker location using google maps.

This applies to:

1.Licence average point markers (will link to average location in Google maps, not necessarily exact location of excavation or trench).

2.Excavation points and poly-lines (the first point of a poly-line will be used as the co-ordinate).

Licence List Map View

A link to open a marker location in google maps is available when using the Map View.

1. Open the Map View and locate the licence average point marker of interest or click the excavation button to view excavation points.

2. Click the marker to open the licence summary information pop-up.

3. Click the "Show in Google Maps" link.

4. Google Maps will open in a new tab.

Licence View: Works Segments tab.

When viewing the 'Works Segments' tab within a licence application, a link is available to open an excavation/reinstatement location in Google Maps.

1.Click the excavation/reinstatement to open the details panel.

2.Click the link shown below the Excavation Code title: Show in Google Maps.
