When there were multiple excavations in close proximity it could sometimes be difficult to find each distinct excavation marker. This also make it difficult for applicants to update the re-instatement. To address this, and to provide a quick visual overview, a "List View" has been introduced. switch between the current Map View and List View on the Works Segments tab.
The list will include details such as the number of surfaces, the coordinates and excavation area, and a link to open the excavation on the map.
As a alternative to the map view, the excavation details can now be viewed using the new "List View" mode. The list will include the following details with a link to open the excavation on the map. 1.Excavation Code: Unique code for the excavation. This is visible when hovering over a marker on the map. 2.Coordinates (GPS): Depending on the excavation type, this will display either "Point" or "Polyline" followed by the coordinates. The excavation can be opened and viewed on the map be clicking anywhere on the excavation row. 3.Street Type: For now, the street type will be based on the traffic impact number. (In a future release, with full PMS integration, this will show the road number and/or street name). 4.No. of Surfaces: Indicates the number of surfaces added to the excavation. 5.Highest Traffic Impact: When there are multiple surfaces added to an excavation this will show the number of the surface with the highest traffic impact. 6.Excavation Area (m2): This is calculated as the Length x Width of the excavation. 7.Status: This will show the reinstatement status (i.e complete or incomplete). Using the list view, you can also quickly see the total number of excavations added to the application. |
Licence search criteria now includes Submitted Date Range.
Previously, it was necessary to use the "takeover" option to perform an action on a licence if you were not assigned to.
Now, you will be automatically assigned to the licence when you proceed with a licence action.
If the user has the necessary permission for the next stage(s) they will automatically be assigned to the licence when pushing the licence from processing to conditioning. •If you are submitting a licence for Conditioning, and you are a Conditioner Approver, you will be automatically assigned to the licence. •When pushing an unassigned licence to Conditioning the current user will be assigned to the licence. |
Using condition templates when conditioning has been made easier. •The Conditioner can now view the list of templates available to a team and tick the ones they wish to use. These will then be displayed on the conditioning screen and are available to edit as necessary. •The condition template list will also indicate if the condition template as previously been added to the licence. |
Previously, each condition had to be approved one at a time. ➢Now a Conditioner Approver can select the Submit for Approval and have all pending conditions automatically approved. ➢Team sign-off will be automatically done. Skip Condition Approval stage If the user is both a Conditioner Approver and you can skip the Submit for Approval stage Approve the licence. Again, any pending conditions will be automatically approved. |
It's now more obvious when a discussion has been made available to an applicant. Look out for the text "Published to applicant" in the heading area of the discussion.
New warnings have been added to alert users that the validity period has started or already expired when performing actions at the agreement or payment approval stages.
Validity period has started The applicant can decide to go ahead regardless or contact the LA to request a validity period extension a to change to the conditioning. Validity period has expired The applicant can withdraw the licence or reject the conditions. |
The Payment Approval user will be warned if the Validity Period has started or has expired. In the case when the Validity Period has expired, the licence cannot be granted. Instead, the licence must be refused and the applicant instructed to submit a new application. |
If an applicant applies for additional works days, but the remaining validity period is insufficient to accommodate the additional works days, they will be immediately notified and instructed that, to proceed, they will need to make a request for a validity period extension along with the additional works days request.
This will create a combined Validity Period & Works Days Request that can be viewed by selecting the Review Extensions Request option.
Licensing authorities can now choose whether they wish to allow for the automatic approval of T3 licences.
This can be set by the Licensing Authority Administrator on the Licence Limits by setting the Enable T3 automation option to On.
