The Applicant Manager is a suite of functionality which together provides applicants with the structure to deal with administrative management of large scale and complex projects.

The is a powerful and very customisable feature but does require training and planning in order to be effectively applied.

Introducing Programmes

How you structure the programme will depend on the complexity of the roads programme, whether you will be using another company for the project or works management and whether there are identifiable or key phases that need to be managed separately.

This is an optional feature and one which many applicants won't need to use. However, for some applicants, this will bring huge administrative and management benefits.

IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE READ BEFORE USING THIS FEATURE

tipbulbThe new Applicant Manager features of Programmes, Projects, Works Batches and Engagements are powerful but require training and planning in order to be applied effectively.

This functionality will not be necessary or appropriate for all Applicants.

Prior consultation is required with the RMO to identify the suitable level of implementation for each organisation.

Business as Usual

All organisations have been configured with a Default Programme, Project, Works Batch and Engagement. This means that all applicants can continue 'business as usual’.

DefaultProgrammeCreateLicence

The Default Programme should be used until the need for managing more complex projects has been identified, and the required training and planning has been completed.

The Applicant Tasks and Search menus provide access to all licences within your organisation, just as Applications did before the upgrade. Until your organisation’s configuration is altered this will remain the case.

All licences are now sorted into Works Batches, Projects and Programmes. All existing licences will be placed in the Default Works Batch.

The easiest method to create a new licence is to use the Create Licence button shown on the Applicant Tasks screen.
