How to check for validation issues |
<< Click to Display Table of Contents >>
Navigation: Applicants Guide > Apply for a licence >
Look for the exclamation sign enclosed in a circle next to a licence form tab name, as shown below.
Move the mouse over the tab symbol to see the validation issues that are on that tab. There are 3 types of validation issues:
1. Error. These must be corrected before you can submit the application.
A red symbol indicates an error. The application will not be accepted until the indicated correction has been made.
2. Warning. A warning should be checked but may not require a change to be made.
An orange symbol indicates a warning. Please carefully read the message and ensure that the details you entered for the highlighted field is appropriate. The licence application can still be submitted.
3. Information. This may highlight where a more correct selection is available.
A green symbol is used for an information message. Please read the information message / suggestion and check if the selection you made for the field is appropriate. The licence application can still be submitted.
