The guarantee period commences after the Licence Holder has confirmed that works have been completed and the inspector is satisfied that works have been satisfactorily completed.

During this period, the Licence Holder will be:

•Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the reinstatement.

•Liable for any accident claims arising from the reinstatement. This also includes claims made after the reinstatement is taken back into the charge of the local authority, where the claim relates to an incident that occurred during the maintenance period.

The guarantee period end date is displayed on the filter results screen when viewing licences in the Guarantee Period stage.

The applicant must confirm

A licence will be automatically moved from the Sign-off to the Guarantee Period 90 days after the applicant submits the T5 for sign-off.
