Approved Certifiers & Certification of Works |
Users must have completed the Road Opening and Reinstatement - Advanced course.
The organisation administrator can add the role of 'Approved Certifier' to the user's account, however the qualification details can only be entered and verified by the RMO Bureau.
Applicants MUST send an email with details of the users, along with Ref No and Expiry Date as shown on their Card, to Support@mrl.jitbit.com
From the 3rd October 2020, all new licences will require works to be certified by an Approved Certifier.
Certification will be required for the submission of a T5 to the licensing authority and again for closeout at the end of the guarantee period.
The Approved Certifier can reject certification if they find a defect or if the details documented for the works on the Works Segments tab are incorrect. The user can choose the appropriate reason and provide a comment. This will be included in a notification sent to the applicant.
To act as an approved certifier for an applicant organisation, a user must meet the following conditions:
•They must have completed the Road Opening and Reinstatement - Advanced course (and receive their LASNTG card).
•They must be assigned the role of 'Approved Certifier'.
•The LASNTG card details must be provided to the RMO for verifying and entry on the user's account (this must be done outside of the system).
•The user's qualification must be valid at the time the licence requires certification. A reminder email will be sent to the user 90 days before the expiry date. No further reminders will be sent.
If the Approved Certifier works for an external organisation additional setup will be required. This will be managed through the Programmes feature and will require the applicant organisation to first issue an organisation association request to the external organisation. Further details will be provided by the RMO.
Survey reports can now be uploaded to the Documents tab of the licence.
This will enable both applicant users and licensing authority users to access them as/when required.
