prod_tip UPDATE: This setting has been removed - licence certificates are now automatically published when the licence is granted. No signatures are used.

Select Settings > Your Organisation > Licensing > Auto Publish Licence Certificate.

The current status of the function will be shown (i.e. On or Off).

To change the status, click the Edit button.

Licence - Signed by / User Signature

The name of the user who approved the licence will be shown as the "signature". This 'signature' text can be configured for each user. In some cases, licensing authorities do not wish to show the full name of the user, and instead what a more generally description for the authority, the name of the licensing area that the user belongs to or a section / department name.

In other cases, a user may want to just use their initials or include a title or use some other alias on the licence, instead of their full name.

Change a User Signature

User signatures can be changed using the Manage Users Signatures table on the Auto Publish Licence Certificate tab.

1.Select a row from the table and click Edit Signature.

2.Enter the text to use as the signature.

3.Click Save.
