When viewing an application, the options that can be performed are shown on the right hand side of the screen. This is referred to as the 'Sidebar'.

If you wish to make use of all the available page display area, for example when drawing a large number of excavations or preparing a works programme that covers a number of months, you can use the Hide Sidebar option.
